On January 2nd 2004 - I purchased my first SLR- a Nikon F80.

The very next day my second son Sam was born. The timing was perfect - my first SLR and a new baby in the house so I threw myself into photography with lots of enthusiasm and some great subjects but no experience or training.

I avidly read every book, magazine and online guide or forum I could get my hands on. This lead me to eventually buy some interesting cameras and to devenop a style of my own.

For me a good photograph should convey mood and atmosphere in a way that evokes an emotional response.
